Registration for 2019 GIN Conference

Registration is now open for the 2019 GIN Conference!

Registration closes on 12 December 2018.

Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, with places secured by proof of payment. Note that demand for places exceeds supply each year and all places might already be filled before the deadline, so please be sure to complete the registration form as soon as possible. We will send you an invoice for registration fees due once we receive your registration form. Your school's registration will then be confirmed once you forward proof of payment to: gin@islux.lu  

Below you will see an outline of registration fees and details on the payment process.

Registration Fees

Conference fee (to be paid for the students and accompanying teachers):

 €120 per participant for schools with GIN membership*

or

€180 per participant for schools without GIN membership

The conference fee covers: one dinner at the ISL on Thursday night, lunches at the Chambre de Commerce on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (take away), fruit and snacks during the day, a conference programme. 

*Annual GIN Membership fee:  

GIN membership costs €430 per academic year. Thank you very much to those schools who have agreed to be a GIN member and support the sustainability of the GIN initiative! Note that GIN membership gives schools a reduced rate of €120 per person when registering for the conference.

 

Payment

Payments and transfers should be made upon receiving your invoice following completion of the registration form:

Please arrange for one payment per school to confirm membership and registrations.  Please mention the name of your school and GIN Conf2019 on your payment transfer. Remember to account for bank charges if you are not paying in Euro; this may amount to €25 to €30 per transfer.


Cancellation terms 

Applicable to conference fees only - membership is non-refundable:

Cancellation by 25 January : 100% refund

Cancellation by 25 February : 50% refund

Cancellation after 25 February : no refund possible

Visas

Visas may be required for non-EU participants; it is the responsibility of the school applying to organise visas if they are necessary.  For further information, please contact your local Department of Foreign Affairs, or embassy.  Please allow sufficient time for your visa application to be processed.  Invitation letters can be issued, upon request, to support any student/teacher visa applications.
